Invitae's mission is to bring genetics to mainstream medicine to improve healthcare for billions.
Personal health records alone provide only a partial view of health. When combined with genetic data, they can unlock new possibilities. A patient and their family can better understand and manage their health. Cancer patients can unlock access to new life-saving treatments. Clinicians and researchers can gain new insights towards analyzing the disease and finding a cure.

Moved by this inspiring mission, prior to joining Invitae and without knowledge of its roadmap, I created a sample product portfolio to demonstrate what the fusion of health data with genomics, powered by cloud technology, could look like when transformed into a consumer-facing application. This case study exhibits my thought process as a PM and possible ideas for a consumer product that incorporates genetic data and digital medical records powered by AI/ML technology.
